Job Title: Medical Surgical/Emergency Department Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical / Emergency Duration: Night Shift Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS required Must-Have: - At least 1 year of Emergency Room experience; 2 years preferred - Ability to float between Medical Surgical and Emergency Department Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work night shifts in the Medical Surgical and Emergency Department. The nurse will float between the Medical Surgical unit and the Emergency Department as needed. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of Emergency Room experience. The hospital serves a diverse patient population with varied diagnoses, including trauma and elderly ailments. The facility is a critical access hospital, located 2.5 hours from the nearest large medical center. Due to its location, the nurse will encounter a wide variety of illnesses and injuries.
