Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Posit ion: Full-Time | 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday + Every Other Saturday
RPh on the Go is seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a community pharmacy. This role offers the potential to transition into a permanent position and is open to experienced pharmacists and new graduates .
Schedule
Week 1: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Week 2:
- Monday–Wednesday & Friday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Every other Saturday is required, alternating with the current part-time pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide patient-centered care
- Counsel patients on medications and proper medication use
- Provide immunization services, including flu and COVID-19 vaccines
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
- Oversee inventory and support pharmacy cost-control efforts
- Lead and support pharmacy staff and daily operations
- Maintain quality assurance, documentation, and patient safety standards
- Address patient questions and concerns professionally
- Help improve pharmacy workflow and efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required
- Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred/required
- Immunization certification preferred
- Ability to work every other Saturday
- New graduates are welcome to apply
