Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 12-hour Day Shifts – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• Massachusetts license required at the time of submission
• BLS-AHA certification required
• ACLS-AHA certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Experience with 1:2-3 patient ratios in ICU
• EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making data-driven decisions for care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes:

• BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
• Must be separated from previous employment with the facility for 6 months to be considered for this position.
• No locals will be considered (50 miles or fewer).
• Floating is not required for this role.
