Contract Duration: Minimum 13 Weeks
Schedule 3 × 12-hour shifts per week

The Mental Health Monitor / Sitter (MHM/S) is responsible for monitoring patients who may be at risk of self-harm or harm to others. This role involves continuous observation, reporting patient activity, and supporting the healthcare team in maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor patients on suicide watch or therapeutic restraints
Perform visual or video monitoring of assigned patients
Report patient observations and behavioral changes to licensed nurses
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Follow instructions from medical staff and unit supervisors
Ensure patient safety by identifying and reporting potential risks
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 months experience in clerical or support services in a medical setting
Experience monitoring multiple screens or patient observation systems preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
