American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of cardiac/telemetry experience and previous travel experience.

Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care hospital, floating to other units required

Level II Trauma Center with acute care patient population

Patient ratio averages 1:7

Night shift, 3x12's schedule (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Every other weekend and holiday required

No on-call requirements

Uses EPIC EMR - required

13-26 week contract with January start dates acceptable

No block scheduling available

Active RN license - VA State License or Compact required

BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)

2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required

Cardiac experience required

Previous travel experience required

Float to other units within the facility as needed

Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code

May request one holiday off, with no more than two days considered for holiday RTO

Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience

Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years

Will consider candidates within a 50 mile radius instead of standard 65 mile radius rule
