Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor & Delivery RN

Schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 AM7:30 PM

Assignment Details: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

Valid RN state or compact license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Epic charting experience required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
AWHONN Advanced recommended; NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret data from external and internal monitoring.
Support during C-sections and manage recovery.
Care for newborns, including APGAR scoring and cord sampling.
Administer medications and manage blood/blood products.
Respond to emergency situations, including postpartum hemorrhage and abnormal fetal heart rate recognition.

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation: 36 hours
Fingerprinting requirements for compliance must be completed prior to start.
Two days of pre-approved time off allowed per contract.
