Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health by utilizing evidence-based practices to determine their needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting them as needed based on continuous evaluations and client feedback.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, employing a range of therapeutic techniques to address diverse mental health concerns.
- Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and promoting relationship strengthening.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses the client's overall well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute stress or emergency situations.
- Participate actively in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Promote self-care and wellness practices among clients, while also prioritizing your mental and emotional health.
- Represent Hopeful Minds professionally, adhering to our values and mission in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families. Our clientele spans various age groups and backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and mental health needs. Your role is essential in facilitating positive outcomes for these individuals, contributing to their emotional resilience and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
- An active LMFT license issued by the State Board is mandatory for practice.
- Experience providing therapy to individuals and couples is essential; experience with children and adolescents is a plus.
- Strong skills in the creation and management of thorough client assessments, treatment plans, and timely progress notes.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining strict client confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice guidelines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a community health setting or working with underserved populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote therapy methods.
- Proven ability to engage clients and motivate them towards their therapeutic goals.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
