House Supervisor

JOB LOCATION - Wilkes-Barre General Hospital - Night Shift Position Purpose Provide supervision of nursing and hospital personnel and patient care activities on a particular shift with an emphasis on maintaining standards of care and patient safety. Position Qualifications Education Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. BSN or willing to attain within five (5) years. Experience / Specialized Skills / Aptitudes Three (3) years experience in acute care nursing required; management experience required. Managerial skills, clinical expertise, teach/instruct, clerical accuracy, communication skills, listening abilities, independent thinking/sound judgment; ability to deal with stress, able to react to emergency and crisis situations, committed to quality of care. Licenses / Certificates Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. Current BLS certification must be completed prior to end of orientation period. #J-18808-Ljbffr
