Department Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – Antenatal Resource Center Position Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Antenatal Resource Center Location: 3000 N Halsted St Ste 209 Chicago, IL 60657 Schedule: Full time, 32 hours per week, 4 eight‑hour shifts (8 AM–4:30 PM) Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour Job Summary This MFM Consult Nurse acts as the central point of contact for high‑risk obstetric patients, guiding them through complex care pathways, coordinating multidisciplinary resources, and ensuring timely access to information and services. Responsibilities Assist patients in understanding care plans, appointments, and recommended interventions, ensuring clear communication between patients and healthcare providers. Review and analyze electronic medical records (EMR) to extract essential clinical information, flagging items relevant to ongoing care and facilitating communication among providers. Coordinate follow‑up appointments and ensure seamless transitions between care settings. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, care plans, and interventions in the EMR. Complete antenatal testing as ordered (NSTs). RN must be EFM Certified. Ideal Candidate Profile Comfortable and confident working with patients experiencing high‑risk pregnancies. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum one year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery and/or one year in a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification is required.
