Summary YOU WILL SERVE AS A PROGRAM MANAGER IN THE SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, JOINT STRATEGIC AND STRIKE DIVISION, JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER(F-35) AIR VEHICLE MISSION SYSTEMS OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is equivalent to GS-14, Step 10: $143-913 - $187,093. Responsibilities You will provide overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets and functions of an administrative program or several closely related programs. You will serve as single point of contact for the Business Unit through interfacing with sponsors, headquarters, contractors, or other government activities involved in the program. You will provide analysis and management of continuing congressional and/or Navy programs. You will prepare all planning documents associated with program organization, product development, material acquisition, program budgets, schedules, reports, and documentation. You will be responsible for cost, schedule and performance management of all the programs and projects as assigned. You will ensure that all planning is fully integrated with the overall program team effort and that of any other participating services and agencies when necessary. You will provide sustainment oversight for all Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) subsystem activities, ensuring readiness, supportability, and lifecycle requirements are integrated across the F-35 enterprise. You will lead coordination and resolution of fielded CNI issues with engineering, logistics, and industry partners, ensuring timely corrective actions and alignment with program priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DA-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilize a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition and contract execution management; 2) Review, analyze, and implement higher level procurement policies; 3) Manage project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Provide sustainment oversight for all Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) subsystem activities, ensuring readiness, supportability, and lifecycle requirements are integrated across the F-35 enterprise; 5) Advise management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives; 6) Represent a command to include CNI issues with engineering, logistics, and industry partners, ensuring timely corrective actions and alignment with program priorities.
