Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Dayton, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Evening Shift | 4×10-Hour Shifts (1:00 PM – 11:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a large multi-suite operating room environment
• Must be able to both circulate and scrub — scrubbing is a firm requirement for this role
• Support surgical cases in specialty areas including neuro, eyes, and/or trauma
• Utilize da Vinci robotic surgical systems as part of OR procedures
• Provide on-call coverage one shift every 3rd or 4th weekend (8-hour call shift); holiday coverage required as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (any active state license or compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Some Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
• Must be able to scrub — candidates who cannot scrub will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Scrub experience in neuro, ophthalmology, or trauma specialties
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgical systems
• Comfort with floating to other units or nearby facilities based on census and skill set
