About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience License: BLS & ACLS Certifications: ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience. BLS & ACLS certification. ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES certification. If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in the state before starting work. Description: This position involves working in a Cath Lab environment. Rotating nights of call and weekends are required. The unit has two Cath suites and a team of experienced staff. Staffing typically includes 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs on day shift. On-call requirements include 7-8 days of call per month, including one weekend. Conscious Moderate Sedation is a part of the job responsibilities. Candidates should possess basic Cath Lab skills, including scrubbing and monitoring. Preferred skills include ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification and EP scrubbing experience. A fun and communicative team atmosphere is highly valued. Great communication skills are essential for managing stressful situations. The community is active and offers access to the mountains and outdoor activities. The area is excellent for families with children. Response time for on-call duties should be within 30 minutes.
