Come join our team! Arcosa Traffic Structures is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator. In this role you'll operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks and/or yard vehicles to move materials and products between receiving and storage locations. As well as, utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.Location: Sumterville, FLWhat you'll do:Operates 8,000-30,000-pound lift truck and boom liftsOperates overhead crane on production lineReceives and records stock receipts in ERP systemMaintains inventory records and participates in audits for inventory accuracyPulls materials as requested or in accordance with production schedule and performs material issue transactions in ERP system.Facilitates communication of inventory to maintain stock levelsBuilds and packages parts or subassembly kitsAccounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilitiesCommunicate with inside & outside drivers, checking loads in & outAudits goods received into warehouseMaintain and improve qualityFollow all safety rules and practicesFill-in as needed so that production goals can be metMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need:High School diploma or equivalent preferred1-3 years of experience as a Mobile Equipment Operator2 years of experience maintaining inventoryExperience with ERP SystemsStrong attention to detailStrong communication skills both written and verbalExperience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointSteel yard experience is preferredWorking Conditions:Hourly full-time positionWork environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
