Installs electrical equipment and remodels existing electrical services to support campus departments. Performs duties as a lead worker and assumes responsibilities of the supervisor in his absence. Campus Electrical System Maintenance & Diagnostics Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues affecting multiple buildings or distribution systems, including feeders, switchgear, and system interfaces. Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 25 Advanced Installation & System Modifications Lead installation and modification of electrical infrastructure, including service upgrades, distribution equipment, and integration of new systems into existing campus networks. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Project Coordination & Technical Input Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to review designs, assess existing conditions, and provide recommendations on electrical capacity, constructability, and code compliance. Assign and review work, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Interpret findings and recommend corrective actions.
