Support mission critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Financial Analyst within GDIT's Diplomacy Subsector. In this role, you will partner closely with finance and program leadership across multiple major programs to deliver analysis, reporting, and insights essential to supporting U.S. diplomatic operations worldwide.Perform various financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across assigned programs.Collect, review, reconcile, and validate financial data from multiple sources.Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data discrepancies.Create, maintain, and update financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to support program and corporate reporting needs.Generate new project records and maintain/monitor project setups throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate coding, timely activation, and alignment with financial and contractual requirements.Maintain complete records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls, contract requirements, and Federal acquisition regulations.Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations.Identify financial risks and opportunities and support recovery or mitigation strategies.Support monthly reporting functions including sales and earnings variance commentary.Prepare customer deliverables including invoice backup packages, Limitation of Funds notifications, and other ad-hoc requests.Support review of cost proposals, contract modifications, and special projects as assigned.Bring your Finance expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
