Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program, or equivalent degree from an accredited program. Current State License as a Physical Therapist in South Carolina required prior to start. Proof of current CPR certification required. Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of personal vehicle insurance required. 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required. Previous home care experience preferred. Ability to perform clinical assessments, develop and revise Plans of Care, document progress notes, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams as part of routine practice. Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing and prolonged standing and walking required. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally as required by caseload. Assignment Details Facility type: Home Health. Assignment type: Travel contract. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be able to travel locally to patient homes. Position requires performing home visits, ordering and adapting durable medical equipment, and providing patient/family education in home settings.
