Shift: Days
Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in a busy Level I Trauma facility. This opportunity offers exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties while working alongside an experienced perioperative team in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Ensure all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and surgical setup.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Robotics experience (Da Vinci Si and Xi systems preferred).
• Experience in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Orthopedics, ENT, Spine, Plastics, Trauma, and High-Risk C-Sections.
• Scrub RN experience is a plus.

Department Information

• Level I Trauma Facility
• 11 Operating Rooms (including Trauma and Urgent OR)
• Approximately 30 surgical cases per day
• EMR: Cerner and SurgiNet

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Trauma, Orthopedic Trauma, and General Surgery experience required.
