As a Security Officer Faith Facility Full Time Patrol Officer in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clergy, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
