Security Engineering Manager

Requirements

• 8 or more years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience within highly regulated financial services environments [1].

• Proficiency in AWS cloud security architecture including IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and multi-account governance models.

• Experience with designing Snowflake data platform security frameworks including RBAC, masking policies, and row-level access controls [1].

• Experience in establishing technical security guardrails to protect against Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI vulnerabilities.

• Experience with hardening on-premises data centers, Microsoft directories, and traditional network segmentation architectures.

• Experience in executing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipeline security, and infrastructure-as-code vulnerability scanning [1].

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate technical audits and provide strategic guidance to cross-functional engineering teams [1].

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly secure, greenfield AWS cloud structures, organizations, and workload controls.

• Establish robust security guardrails, data protection limits, and logging for internally developed generative AI engines.

• Formulate secure Snowflake access controls, multi-factor authentication integrations, and role hierarchies.

• Maintain and harden existing on-premises server infrastructure, firewalls, and active directories.

• Embed continuous security checkpoints and secrets scanning into CI/CD build environments.

• Coordinate directly with security auditors and regulatory examiners to deliver compliance evidence and technical remediations.

• Direct and mentor a dedicated team of security engineers while operating as a highly hands-on technical practitioner.
