Outpatient Physical Therapist - New Grad

This is a 13-week contract position for a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs, and educating patients, families, and students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals aimed at facilitating patient discharge.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear and timely manner.
• Ensure care is provided under signed and valid physician orders.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Create a professional development plan and actively pursue continuing education.
• Adhere to the relevant rules and regulations of the discipline, maintaining licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Schedule

Full-time position with a flexible schedule, working 40 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• At least 6 months of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
