Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements 15+ years of experience in networking system development, including L10 switch platforms and L11 rack-level solutions supporting 100G, 400G, 800G, and next-generation Ethernet technologies.Strong understanding of network switch architectures, including Intel x86 processors, Broadcom ASICs, PHY devices, platform management controllers, and overall system-level design and integration.Deep knowledge of hardware and firmware interactions, system bring-up, platform validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis across complex networking products.Proven ability to lead system definition, integration, qualification, and deployment activities while driving technical decisions across cross-functional engineering teams and external partners.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction, communicate across organizational levels, and balance technical and business objectives.Desirable Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience mentoring and developing engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.CompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Working in a fast-paced environment where innovation, technical leadership, and execution excellence are highly valued, you will drive product strategy, architecture, and delivery from concept through production.
