APTD Manufacturing Technician - Night shift

Overview Become a part of Intel's Advanced Packaging Team by joining the Advanced Packaging Technology Development: Substrate and Wafer Assembly (APTDSWA) organization. As an APTDSWA Manufacturing Technician, you will perform functions associated with all substrate production, including operations, equipment process, and training. Shift Information Shift 4: 6:00PM – 6:18AM. The schedule alternates a 3‑day week (Sun‑Mon‑Tue) with a 4‑day week (Sat‑Sun‑Mon‑Tue). Responsibilities Collect and evaluate operating data to make online adjustments to equipment, ensuring processes are continuously optimized for efficiency and quality. Run lots in a qualitative manner, maintaining the highest standards throughout the production process. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, manage spare parts, and support ongoing production operations. Lead improvement processes, address and resolve nonstandard events, and regularly review technological health and stability of systems to support uninterrupted operations. Manage buddy, trainer, and certifier levels within the team; update and maintain training manuals. Participate in safety forums and the Emergency Response Team. Conduct setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal tool performance; monitor and analyze equipment data to identify opportunities for improvement. Work closely with Module Engineering to execute experiments, implement equipment configuration changes, and support data collection activities. Requirements Work a compressed work week schedule. Work in a clean room environment wearing bunny suits, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves. Lift up to 25lbs. five times a day. Spend most of the time (more than 90% of the shift) in a clean room, working on tool sets, walking 2–4miles a day, and/or standing for 9hours. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics, or Associate degree with 1+ year experience, or High School Diploma with 3+ years of related manufacturing or military experience in one of those fields. This position has no eligibility for Intel immigration sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications 6+ months of prior experience in electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of semiconductor manufacturing technology. ERT training and certification.
