VP of Investment Accounting Opportunity with a Leading $200B+ Alternative Investment Manager

COMPENSATION:

Base Salary: $185,000–$225,000

Total Compensation: $285,000–$355,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Compensation commensurate with experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a senior accounting partner on complex investments and transactions, evaluating credit terms, fee structures, syndication mechanics, and other deal features to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and revenue recognition in accordance with firm policies.

• Oversee material daily P&L drivers, exercise sound accounting judgment, escalate emerging issues, and communicate the accounting and economic implications of portfolio activity to key stakeholders.

• Oversee critical monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables, providing actionable analysis and insights to Investor Relations, Portfolio Management, and senior leadership.

• Collaborate with Investor Relations and cross-functional stakeholders on client onboarding, reporting solutions, and analysis of investment performance and portfolio activity.
