DESIGN AT THINKINK

Our creative work is focused on communicating complex ideas clearly engaging sophisticated business audiences and supporting client objectives. One day that might mean translating proprietary research into an engaging industry report or infographic. Another might mean developing a visual identity building a sales presentation creating a digital campaign or designing a responsive website experience.

Youll work across multiple clients brands projects and deadlines often moving between them in the same day at a fast pace while collaborating with strategists writers PR professionals researchers and developers.

Its a great opportunity for someone who loves taking independent ownership of creative projects and driving the entire design and production process.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time hands-on role that blends conceptual work client communications and routine production design. Youll develop concepts present ideas solve design problems and execute the work yourself.

You should be equally comfortable discussing creative direction with a client working through responsive behavior with a developer and translating complex B2B content into a compelling visual story.

Youll also need to be comfortable reading client brand guidelines researching their past and current designs and creating fresh interpretations within a branded box.

Three things are essential for this role:

Agency experience. You must have worked as part of an established agency team (PR communications marketing advertising digital or creative) and understand the processes collaboration deadlines client service and changing priorities that come with agency work.

B2B design experience. You must have meaningful experience creating marketing and communications materials for business audiences. Were not looking for consumer advertising or award-driven campaign work. Were looking for someone who knows how to make white papers reports presentations thought leadership websites campaigns social content and other B2B materials clear engaging and creatively distinctive.

Digital-first design expertise. You must know how to design for digital channels from the outset particularly responsive web and mobile experiences rather than creating static desktop designs that someone else has to reinterpret for digital use. You understand responsive behavior information hierarchy UX considerations and developer handoff.

Tasks

WHAT YOULL DO

Creative Strategy & Concept Development

• Develop creative concepts and visual approaches for THINKINK clients and the THINKINK brand.
• Translate business objectives communications strategies research and complex B2B subject matter into a clear visual approach.

Hands-On Design

• Personally design high-quality B2B marketing and communications materials from concept through final delivery.
• Create reports white papers research pieces infographics and other long-form thought-leadership assets.
• Create and evolve visual identities brand guides templates and design systems.

Digital & Responsive Design

• Design websites landing pages and images with responsive behavior in mind from the beginning.
• Create prototypes mockups and/or other layouts that work effectively across desktop tablet and mobile rather than relying on developers to reinterpret desktop-only designs.
• Apply sound principles of information hierarchy usability and user experience to digital work.
• Prepare organized developer-ready files and provide clear design direction during handoff.

Client Partnership

• Build trusted relationships with clients through strong communication reliability and sound creative judgment.
• Present concepts and explain the rationale behind creative recommendations when required.
• Listen to and interpret client feedback while protecting the strategic and creative integrity of the work.

Agency & Project Management

• Manage multiple client assignments and competing priorities in a fast-moving agency environment meet deadlines and take ownership of work through final delivery.
• Organize your workload accurately track time and communicate early when timelines or priorities need to be adjusted.
• Move comfortably between different clients industries brands and types of assignments.
• Troubleshoot routine creative and technical challenges independently and proactively seek solutions rather than relying on extensive production or support resources.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional design experience
• Experience working as an embedded member of an agency team with direct exposure to agency processes client service multiple accounts and deadline-driven delivery.
• A portfolio containing B2B marketing and communications work.
• A portfolio containing digital design work including responsive web/mobile design and imagery.
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud particularly Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong working proficiency in Figma.
• Advanced presentation design skills particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• Strong understanding of typography layout information hierarchy color theory and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and quality.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without constant oversight.
• The ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
• The ability to create deliverables without formal briefs or traffic micromanagement.

Highly Desirable

• Strong client-facing presentation and relationship-management experience.
• Previous success working remotely as part of a distributed team.
• Experience developing brand identities and scalable design systems.
• Motion design animation or video-editing skills.

Youll succeed in this role if you can take a complex B2B challenge understand what the client is trying to accomplish and independently turn it into strong creative work across the channels where it will live.

Youll move comfortably between strategy and execution client conversation and focused production creative ambition and practical deadlines.

Most importantly youll understand how to operate inside an agency: managing competing priorities collaborating across disciplines communicating clearly solving problems independently and consistently delivering work that makes both the client and the agency better.
