Job Description Intervention Specialist Location: Groveport, OH Position Type: Full-Time | Contract Start Date: August 19, 2026 End Date: May 21, 2027 Grade Levels: 5th–8th Grade Caseload: Approximately 15 students Student Population: Mild/Moderate Disabilities Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students in grades 5–8 for the 2026–2027 school year. The Intervention Specialist will provide individualized academic and behavioral support to a caseload of approximately 15 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and intervention based on individual student needs and IEP goals. Manage and monitor a caseload of approximately 15 students. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families. Provide academic interventions and accommodations to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring data. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Qualifications Previous experience working with students with mild/moderate disabilities preferred. Intervention Specialist or Special Education certification/licensure in Ohio preferred.
