General Manager

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s branding and products but is a separate employer responsible for all employment matters—including hiring, firing, and scheduling. Responsibilities Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them. Lead a team of Department Managers, helping each set goals, track progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments. Drive overall restaurant improvement through effective department management. Optionally hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team for the future. Qualifications Previous managerial experience. Background in quick‑service restaurants strongly desired; experience in hospitality or retail is also valued. Must be 18 years or older.
