Title
Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery

Schedule
Day Shift, 4 x 10s, Monday - Friday (rotating day off). Start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements
- California RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- 2 years of experience in Outpatient Surgery
- Endoscopy experience
- Experience in perioperative settings strongly preferred
- Comfort with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows
- Experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgery.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and monitor them during the pre-operative phase.
- Assist in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) phase and support recovery.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical processes and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the surgical process.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation and training details as required.
- Background checks and drug screens may be performed.
- Scrubs or dress code policies must be adhered to during the contract.
