Dietary Aide

We're hiring a Dietary Aide to help deliver excellent dining service while also supporting residents' daily care needs. This role reports to the Dining Room Manager. What You'll Do Set and maintain tables; serve residents promptly, courteously, and in an orderly manner Clear and reset tables after meal service; sweep and mop floors Prepare for and work special functions; assist with inventory and vendor deliveries Wash and sanitize cooking and serving items, kitchen equipment, walls, and floors Follow individualized plans of care for assigned residents; observe and report changes in condition Assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, and ambulation as directed Support fall prevention and a restraint-free environment; help welcome and transfer residents What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate and CNA certification preferred CPR and First Aid certification, if required by state regulations Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition Working Environment Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated dining and community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise Occasional outdoor exposure to weather and temperature changes Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay Flexible scheduling Excellent growth and advancement opportunities Additional Information This job description is intended to convey general information about the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, skills, or working conditions.
