Contract Details This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Medical Specialist will work on-site at various construction projects and will report directly to the Project Manager. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Specialist to join our team. The Medical Specialist will be responsible for providing medical support and assistance to our construction workers on-site. This includes assessing and treating injuries and illnesses, providing first aid and emergency care, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct on‑site medical assessments and evaluations of construction workers Provide first aid and emergency care as needed Administer medication and treatment as prescribed Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records for all employees Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures Conduct safety training and education for employees on topics such as injury prevention and proper lifting techniques Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment Communicate with outside medical professionals and coordinate referrals for specialized care, if necessary Participate in safety meetings and provide recommendations for improving workplace safetyStay up‑to‑date on industry regulations and best practices for employee health and safety Maintain confidentiality of all medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field Current state nursing license Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Specialist or Occupational Health Nurse Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
