Warehouse Clerk I – Ryder, Edwardsville, IL We are hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Clerk I to support our facility at Ryder in Edwardsville, Illinois. Responsibilities Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed. Uses the location's WMS system to update area or shift metrics as needed. Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries of a technical and/or confidential nature. Performs floor work and additional duties as assigned. Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift, maintains filing systems and documents. Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support. Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift. Performs other duties as assigned depending on the area supported or if location specific. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred. One year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred. One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates customer service skills. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment. Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices. Benefits Pay: $22.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift premium. Warehouse positions paid weekly. On‑the‑job paid training. Paid time off.
