Permanent Supportive Housing Program Director

Job Details Title: Permanent Supportive Housing Program (PSHP) Director Location: Preble Street - PORTLAND, ME 04101 Level: Management Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Responsibilities Provide oversight and management to the PSHP program, ensuring high‑quality services and community planning aligned with the agency mission and PSHP grant requirements. Manage program administration and implementation, service quality, staff supervision and support, and ensure the safety of clients and staff. Engage in community planning and community engagement. Collaborate with Senior Directors on program development and evaluation, resource and systems development, community relations, and grants management. Assist in the management and oversight of PSHP subcontractors. Occasional statewide travel may be required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, business administration or related field of study. Significant or relevant experience in nonprofit management. Minimum of three years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness; or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience. Master’s degree in social work, nonprofit management, public administration, business administration or related field of study, and relevant experience in nonprofit social services management, and a minimum of three years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness preferred. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary: $79,000. 160 hours vacation time, 96 hours sick time, 32 hours personal time (accrued), 12 paid holidays.
