Job DescriptionUW Medicine - Department of Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Quality Coordinator.WORK SCHEDULE100% FTEDay ShiftHybrid ScheduleDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe UW Medicine Supply Chain team directly supports the UW Medicine patient care mission through effective sourcing and distribution operations. The quality coordinator role improves the supply chain performance by measuring key processes, identifying improvements, and tracking change.POSITION HIGHLIGHTSThe supply chain quality coordinator role is responsible for supporting the supply chain quality program to ensure that operational performance matches expectation. This role will understand the supply chain value stream, perform process audits, manage the policy update program, and advise leaders on best practice.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain a process audit schedule with the supply chain leadership teamWork with local departmental leaders to review a process flow, document the actual outcome, and provide a performance to expectation assessmentIssue non-conformities based on process observation, monitors non-conformity action plans, and partners with leaders on follow-up auditsDocument audit progress and results to share with organizational leadershipManage the UW Medicine supply chain policy and procedure database and ensure that the documents are updated according to organization standardsProvide upstream/downstream process recommendations based on experience and exposure to multiple workflowsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in Healthcare supply chain, OR general supply chain quality programsEquivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.ABOUT UW MEDICINE - WHERE YOUR IMPACT GOES FURTHERUW Medicine is Washington’s only health system that includes a top-rated medical school and an internationally recognized research center.
