Registered Nurse (RN) - Manager

Oversee delivery of behavioral health/nursing services with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration to meet residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs. Ensure compliance with regulations and nursing standards. Prioritize patient safety. Responsibilities Anticipate and manage changes in census and acuity, allocating nursing resources accordingly. Demonstrate excellent customer service and urgency for patient safety. Accountable for the standard of care, providing consultation and expertise. Serve as a clinical and service resource for nursing and other staff. Coordinate safe and appropriate care across departments. Manage and evaluate work activities of nursing and support staff. Analyze information and devise solutions to problems. Recruit, hire, and train new staff. Identify training needs and develop programs. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures. Prepare reports for management on program status and quality initiatives. Plan budgets and authorize expenditures. Provide direct patient care as needed. Perform other assigned functions and tasks. Education / Experience / Skill Requirements BSN or higher strongly preferred. Current RN license in the state of the facility. Three years of RN experience preferred; two years required. At least one year of experience with the facility’s patient population. One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required. Prior experience as a house supervisor preferred. Licenses / Designations / Certifications Current RN license required. CPR and de‑escalation/restraint certification required (training provided). First aid may be required.
