Schedule Highlights

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
• ⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• ❌ No Call Required
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 

Unit Overview – 5 West Progressive Care Unit

• ️ 34–35 Bed PCU (Telemetry Monitored)
• ❤️ Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department
• ‍⚕️ Strong interdisciplinary support:
  • IV Team, Respiratory, PT, Pharmacy, Rapid Response
• Patient Population:
  • Stroke (backup), Sepsis, Renal, GI, Endocrine, Hematology 

Key Responsibilities

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation
• Manage and titrate cardiac & vasoactive drips
• Provide respiratory care (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, trach care)
• IV therapy, PICC/central line management
• Stroke and complex medical patient care
• Maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU setting

✅ Must-Have Requirements

• ✔️ 2+ Years PCU Experience (Required)
• ✔️ Experience with 1:5 ratios
• ✔️ Strong cardiac telemetry background
• ✔️ Ability to interpret & manage dysrhythmias
• ✔️ Experience with drip titration
• ✔️ BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Required
• ✔️ Epic experience (preferred)
