Press Machine Operator

Job Details Job Location: Emmetsburg, IA 50537 Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 Hourly Job Summary Operate the press machine and perform material handling functions. Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Functions Use the press machine to layout the laminate to the material. Operate a forklift to move materials through the warehouse, as needed. Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the General Manager. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely. Follow all prescribed safety regulations. Qualifications (Required Skills/Abilities) Knowledge of tooling materials Must be flexible with task assignments Maintain current Forklift Driver certification Basic mechanical knowledge to make minor repairs, a plus Good mathematical skills Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency preferred. Previous woodworking experience preferred. Physical Requirements This position will regularly require the ability to sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
