Robotics Online Programmer

Job Title: Robotics Online Programmer
Location: Vonore, TN
Core Responsibilities:
- Apply strong mechanical engineering principles combined with advanced programming and system analysis capabilities.
- Lead the mechanical design of custom automation cells and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Conduct robot reachability studies and payload analysis, including joint torque, center of gravity, and moment of inertia.
- Perform simulation using MotoSim software.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses in accordance with ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218.
- Integrate safety PLCs, light curtains, and fail-safe mechanisms.
- Design and program complex robotic workcells.
- Develop high-level robot logic and optimize motion profiles.
- Perform online robot programming on Yaskawa robots.
- Support waterjet cutting applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Expert-level experience programming 6-axis robots.
- Experience with integrated vision platforms such as Cognex or Keyence.
- Experience with ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218.
- Experience with robotic system risk assessment methodologies.
- Compulsory experience with MotoSim software.
- Must have online robot programming experience with Yaskawa robots.
- Waterjet cutting application experience is preferred.
