Principal/Senior Consultant

Senior or Principal Consultant – Client Growth & Team Leadership We’re looking for a dynamic, people‑first leader who thrives on building relationships, inspiring teams, and driving business growth. This role will shape client partnerships, internal culture, and a growing business while leading a talented team and delivering meaningful environmental work. What You’ll Do Build meaningful connections and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and industry peers through proactive outreach, networking, and exceptional project delivery. Lead with purpose and energy: inspire high‑performing teams, maintain momentum across projects, and navigate challenges with confidence and clarity. Drive business and project success: oversee project performance—including budgets, timelines, and resources—to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery. Be the face of our brand: represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand visibility and reputation. Develop and empower talent: lead, coach, and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative, positive, and growth‑oriented environment. Expand our client base: partner with business development and program leaders to identify, pursue, and win new opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Deliver technical excellence: provide expertise and oversight on complex environmental projects, including: Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Soil, vapor, and groundwater investigations Remedial action planning and implementation Proposal development, cost estimating, and reporting What You Bring Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Professional licensure (PG or PE) preferred. 10+ years of environmental consulting experience. Proven success in client‑facing roles and team leadership. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations across industrial, energy, agricultural, or commercial sectors. A natural ability to connect with people and build trust quickly. Strategic thinker with a passion for growing business and developing others. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Compensation & Benefits Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000. Compensation Range: $108,000 – $162,000 annually.
