Registered Nurse - PICU

$2815.20/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced PICU Registered Nurses for night shifts on a rotating basis to provide specialized care in pediatric intensive care units. The role involves managing critically ill children across various ICU settings, including NICU, TICU, and CICU, with potential float to general care areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer advanced pediatric and neonatal critical care treatments, including ventilator management, medication drips, and pressor administration.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to clinical changes, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient status accurately in Epic EMR and adhere to all compliance protocols.
  
  
• 
  Follow protocols for medication administration, including PICU-specific drips and emergency medications.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current licensure and certifications, including PALS, and participate in ongoing education requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active RN license in hand at the time of submittal, with current PALS certification through AHA.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in pediatric ICU settings, with familiarity managing critically ill children in NICU, TICU, or CICU.
  
  
• 
  Ability to demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and critical pediatric medication protocols.
  
  
• 
  Commitment to compliance deadlines, including labs, licensing verification, and required testing.
  
  
• 
  BSN preferred but not required; previous Epic EMR experience is a plus.
