Practice Manager - Cary Stonebridge

Employment Type: Full‑Time The pay range for this role is $60,631 - $87,578 annually. Summary In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. Your practice management skills will be put to use to drive business results, and your people leadership skills will come into play as you develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Along with a team of knowledgeable pet health care experts, you’ll ensure that clients and patients have a positive experience when they visit the hospital. Through a professional relationship with other stakeholders, including the veterinary medical team, field leadership, our corporate headquarters and PetSmart® associates (if applicable), you’ll help optimize the growth of both businesses. Qualifications Required Education/Licenses: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Required Experience: Three years related experience (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.) required, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.). Additional skills: Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; knack for problem solving; conflict management experience; leadership and analytical know‑how. Responsibilities Interview, hire and develop associates. Evaluate the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity. Train associates on how to educate clients about Banfield guidelines, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs.
