Overview The Per Diem Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) supports the Sports Medicine Program by providing high‑quality care and coordination across clinical and community outreach settings. The role serves as a liaison between the Gene and Autry Orthopaedic Center physicians, the Sports Medicine Program Manager, and community partners. Responsibilities Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation to pediatric and adolescent athletes in clinic, school, or event settings. Assist with programmatic development and community education efforts. Coordinate care with physicians, the Sports Medicine Program Manager, and community partners. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience 6+ months ATC experience. 1+ year of ATC experience, experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults preferred. Experience in both clinical and outreach (school, club, or field) settings highly desirable. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills preferred. Minimum Education/Licensure/Certification BA or BS from accredited institution. BOC Certification required. For Clinical Athletic Trainers: Completion of physician extender residency preferred; orthopaedic technologist certification preferred. Pay Scale Information USD $39.80 - USD $39.80 per hour.
