Change Manager – Financial Systems & Transformation

Location: New York, NY (4days onsite)

Contract: Initial 6 months

We’re seeking an experienced Change Manager to support a large-scale financial systems and business transformation programme within a complex, global corporate environment.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, finance and business operations, helping teams navigate significant process and technology changes. You’ll partner with project teams, technology specialists, senior stakeholders and business leaders to develop change strategies, build stakeholder readiness and drive adoption of new systems and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end change management across complex technology and business transformation initiatives.
• Develop change strategies and plans aligned with programme objectives, delivery milestones and business priorities.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments across people, processes, systems and operating models.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement, communications, training and adoption plans.
• Translate complex technical changes into clear, business-focused messaging for different audiences.
• Partner with project managers, engineering teams and business leaders to identify risks, manage resistance and support successful implementation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to build alignment and gather feedback.
• Define and monitor change readiness, adoption and effectiveness measures.
• Integrate change management activities into Agile delivery, sprint planning and release cycles.
• Support continuous improvement of change management frameworks, tools and methodologies.

Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in change management, supporting large-scale technology and business transformation programmes.
• Proven experience developing and executing change strategies, impact assessments and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Experience supporting ERP, SAP or other enterprise technology implementations.
• Strong communication, facilitation and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technology and process changes into practical business impacts.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex corporate environments.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Desirable Experience

• Full lifecycle SAP, ERP or SaaS implementation experience.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Exposure to financial management processes, including accounting, Quote to Cash, Source to Pay or payroll.
• Experience supporting global transformation programmes.
• Prosci certification and/or Agile or SAFe certification.
• Background in management consulting, Big Four or an in-house transformation function.
