Mid-level Drupal Developer

Salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• We require at least 5 years of Drupal development experience.
• We need hands-on experience with module development and customization, including Views, Rules, and custom core configuration.
• We require experience with theming, including the Twig templating engine, along with a solid grasp of web design principles.
• We need a strong understanding of Drupal APIs, including hooks, services, and events.
• We require back-end experience with MySQL or MariaDB, query optimization, and Drupals entity system.
• We require front-end experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• We need experience using version control tools and repositories such as Git and GitHub.
• We require familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• We need experience working on project teams.
• We require strong communication skills.
• We need someone who is highly organized.
• Preferred: experience supporting the federal government.
• Preferred: knowledge of accessibility and compliance regulations.

• We work with staff to support development, design, testing, and enhancement activities in the Agencys Drupal content management system.
• We create new Drupal content types and update existing ones.
• We make menu and information architecture updates that support menu creation.
• We optimize the Drupal environment for site performance and integrate third-party tools such as Qualtrics.
• We create and maintain user roles, permissions, and workflow components.
• We integrate modules into Drupal based on customer requirements.
• We implement responsive layouts for tablet and mobile devices.
• We assess and resolve website accessibility issues in line with established standards and regulations.
• We provide quality assurance through functional and automated testing for performance and integrations.
• We design or refresh home pages, landing pages, and other content types using UX best practices to improve the user experience.
• We perform maintenance tasks, including application-level security patching and vulnerability remediation.
• We complete minor and major Drupal CMS upgrades as needed.
• We prepare technical documentation for the solutions we develop.
