Job Details Position: Pulmonary Critical Care Physician Employment Type: Locum tenens physician job Location: Longview, Texas Region: East Texas healthcare opportunity Start Date: 10/16/2026 End Date: 1/7/2027 Duration: 12 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270 - $7,420 Schedule: In-house coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with on-call coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 15 days Setting: Pulmonary critical care service with ICU-level responsibilities Job Requirements Board certified physician required Fellowship training in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience required Current certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS Ability to manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide pulmonary and critical care coverage for hospitalized patients Manage day-time in-house rounding and overnight on-call coverage Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex respiratory and critical care conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe, high-quality patient care Respond to urgent clinical needs and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain timely documentation and communication throughout the locum tenens assignment Apply now to join this Pulmonary Critical Care Physician locum tenens opportunity in Longview, Texas.
