Veterans Benefits Advocate — Statewide Claims Counselor

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS seeks a State Veterans’ Service Officer for the West Palm Beach VAHCS to interview veterans, determine benefits eligibility, and submit claims for federal and state benefits. The incumbent advises clients, collects documentation, and advocates for veterans’ entitlements. Minimum qualifications include military service with honorable separation and DD-214; preferred candidates have veterans’ affairs experience and proficiency in MS Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr State of Florida
