Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide direct nursing care to general medical and surgical patients, including those undergoing short stay procedures in specialties such as Orthopaedic and Stroke care. The role also involves monitoring Remote Telemetry patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and IV therapy.
• Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and patient assessments.
• Conduct point-of-care testing, including blood glucose monitoring.
• Assist with the insertion of Foley catheters and perform other essential nursing duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of Med Surg experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
