Host/Hostess

We are seeking a welcoming, professional, and organized team member to create a positive first impression for guests and support smooth front-of-house operations. In this role, you will help manage guest flow, coordinate seating, and ensure each guest feels valued from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays calm in a fast-paced environment, and works well with both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to support an efficient dining experience.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide basic information about wait times, specials, and seating options.
- Communicate with servers and management to coordinate table turns and guest needs.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to general inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host area.
- Monitor guest flow and help resolve concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support team members with additional front-of-house tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, friendly, and attentive in a busy environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable using reservation systems, phones, or basic computer tools.
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, or guest service experience is helpful, but not required.
