Financial Center Banker

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed performance targets related to customer satisfaction, product sales, and financial wellness conversations. Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities. Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to identify customer improvement areas and growth opportunities. Analyze accounts, transactions, and behaviors to offer personalized recommendations. Operational Soundness: Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in operational activities and financial-center security. Identify and implement strategies for continuous operational improvement. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Initiate proactive conversations, build rapport, and anticipate customer needs to enhance their financial well-being. Provide ongoing support, follow-up, and guidance. Leadership and Culture: Deliver exceptional customer service experiences, address concerns promptly, and turn negative experiences into positive ones. Represent and embody the Northwest Bank culture. Compliance & Regulations: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Protect customer information and mitigate risk. Technology & Efficiency: Navigate Microsoft Office and other department-specific software to maximize productivity. Lead daily branch operational tasks including opening and closing. Team Collaboration & Additional Duties: Work as part of a team, utilize on-site equipment, follow security and dual-control processes, and complete special projects as requested. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Establish effective working relationships with team members and contribute to problem solving and decision making. Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in oral and written form appropriate to the audience. Listen actively to achieve understanding, share information, and facilitate open exchange of ideas. Make sound decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes and exercise good judgment in gray areas. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year banking and/or retail experience preferred. Sales experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
