Associate Scientist, Post Doc Fellow- Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics

Postdoctoral research fellowship in quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics focused on advancing translational pharmacokinetic modeling for pediatric drug development. The position involves developing quantitative models to support dose selection and exposure prediction for biologics, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at a pharmaceutical research organization.

Responsibilities

  • Review and curate nonclinical and clinical pharmacokinetic data from published and internal sources
  • Develop and qualify fit-for-purpose pharmacokinetic and translational models for pediatric drug development
  • Evaluate model performance, uncertainty, and translate results into recommendations for project teams
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to support quantitative model development and application
  • Present research findings at conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in mathematical biology, systems biology, statistics, mathematics, computer science, pharmacometrics, or related field
  • Experience with population PK or physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling approaches
  • Proficiency in R, MATLAB, Python, NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix WinNonlin, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated scientific writing ability with publication record including preprints
  • Knowledge of pharmacokinetic properties and translational modeling principles

Compensation: $82,000-$92,000 base
