Licensed Insurance Assistant

Onyxx Insurance Group is seeking a licensed insurance professional to support our commercial and personal lines clients. We’re looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling insurance applications, preparing quote submissions, and communicating with clients and carriers. Responsibilities Gather and review client information needed for commercial and personal insurance quotes. Accurately complete ACORD forms, insurance applications, and supplemental questionnaires. Request supporting documents and follow up on missing information. Prepare quote submissions and communicate with carriers and underwriters. Respond to client emails and phone calls promptly and professionally. Assist with policy changes, renewals, certificates of insurance, and routine service requests. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in our agency management system. Track outstanding requests and follow-ups to meet deadlines. Qualifications Active Property & Casualty insurance license required. Previous insurance agency experience with both commercial and personal lines. Working knowledge of insurance terminology and basic coverages. Experience completing ACORD forms and insurance applications. Ability to handle applications and quote preparation independently. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office. We value relevant experience, practical insurance knowledge, and reliable client service.
