Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate with expertise leading end-to-end test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.


Rate Range: $30/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, test case development, test data preparation, execution, defect tracking, and test reporting for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure complete functional, integration, and system test coverage.
• Execute manual testing activities and support automation testing initiatives to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
• Analyze requirements, perform system assessments, troubleshoot application issues, and validate business and technical functionality across multiple systems.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures to validate data integrity, backend processes, and application functionality.
• Utilize tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, UFT, and TestComplete to manage test execution, defect lifecycle, test documentation, and quality assurance activities within Agile environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing, including extensive experience in test planning, execution, and quality management.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, test strategy development, test case design, end-to-end test execution, and Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with HP ALM, JIRA, SQL (including complex queries and stored procedures), and QA best practices, with experience supporting enterprise application testing and defect management processes.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
